Disney Plus Adds 15 New Movies and TV Shows This Week

Disney plus adds 15 new titles in its last two August draws. The Mouse House’s streaming service offers a ton of original TV content the week starting August 25, along with a handful of new films debuting on Friday. 11 new episodes of current D + TV shows land on Wednesday, including two new episodes from National Geographic Cesar Millan: Better human, better dog and over Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life. In the meantime, there is the last of Turner & Hooch, the penultimate episode of Pixar Monsters at work and the third installment of Marvel’s What if…?. Details on where the anthology will go from here are currently being kept under wraps.

A special episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian falls on the same day. This one delves behind the scenes of the breathtaking finale of season 2 of the overwhelming success Star wars show, which premiered last December and memorably featured Mark Hamill’s return as Luke Skywalker, aged thanks to cutting-edge SFX, and Grogu and Mando being parted in tears.

Let’s move on to Friday, Emma Stone vehicle Cruel Premier Access is coming out, meaning it will be available to stream to all subscribers at no additional cost now that it’s been three months since it premiered. The same day brings Underdog, the live-action adaptation of the classic cartoon, starring the voices of Jason Lee and Amy Adams. Not to mention the brand new special music Disney Princess Remix which sees contemporary Disney stars cover classic songs.
