ROWLETT, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – If you love horror movies, then a family in Rowlett has just the garden for you in time for Halloween.

“I get models, and we get the clothes for them,” Gutierrez said. “It takes a lot of thrift stores, a lot of garage sales to dress them all. I paint them, I put my eyes on them.

Each year he creates two or three more characters from his favorite movies or TV shows, spending hundreds of hours building and painting them.

“Of course, I spend five hours a day every day on the screen throughout the year,” Gutierrez said.

It currently has 21 characters built and has hosted Nightmare on Hanover Court for the past five years.
